Mr. Milan Malik was born 06.10.1978 in Skalica. His very first contacts with music started to
                              manifest themselves already in his childhood, when he started to use his mother’s pots and his sister’s
                        toy suitcases as a compensation for a battery of drums.
                                 At the age of six he started attending piano lessons, but his greatest love up till now is percussion.
                     Composing music he most often uses a computer in combination with a midi synthesiser, a guitar, percussion
                    and samples.
                         The first band he performed with as a drummer (or a little drummer boy), was The Destiny, where he started
           to play during attending the fifth class of primary school. Later there were a lot of bands of various trends. With the
          band The Ä he recorded 3 studio demos, with the Czech band Like Fool that was of a harder nature, he recorded 2
       demos and he played tens of concerts in the Czech Republic, Slovak republic, Austria and in Switzerland. The Cloud
       band, which originated after Milan’s leaving Like Fool was composed of Czech and Slovak musicians. As for the genre, it
   was also a harder style band. Then there was The Natur@l band, that used to use a computer with a combination with ethno instruments during their live performances. Later a chamber-tuned The Jazzicek Trio came into being which transformed itself into The Strange Seeds Band. Their music was influenced by psychedelic period of the music genius Miles Davis and for some time there were seven members of the band playing there. Nowadays The Strange Seeds are performing as a quartet with occasional guests and they are preparing a record with a work title Galimatias (A Nasty Mess).
     Since 2002 Milan has been performing in The Omens band with which he recorded a CD named Džugašvilné šrotvajlery which he also sound-produced .
     As for his solo projects, in 1997 he recorded a demo called Garden, where you can feel an inspiration by Nine Inch Nails band. Then a demo called Crystaline followed and then a four-composition demo called Milq, which is more oriented to electronic and experiment music. His come back to guitars can be felt in his recording called A Return From A Place Of No Return (2000) that is partially influenced by music of Slovak musical giant Dezo Ursiny.
     Since 2001 he has been working together, as a musician and a sound engineer, with Softworks Illusion Company that deals with the PC and console games development. They already have created such titles as Hidden & Dangerous Part 1 and Part 2, Mafia, Viet Cong and another successful games. Milan has been working on the project Chameleon, intensively for three years as a musician and a sound engineer.Here you cen find rewievs ( 1, 2 ).
     At the moment Milan has been working for five years on a project called Psychic and which should be finished in the ending of 2006 and which promises a very nourishing mix of guitar, electronic ant atmospheric music.
